What is "Mind-Body" Connection?
The Mind-Body connection shows us that our thoughts and emotions literally change our physical body, and changes in our physical body literally change our thoughts and emotions.
Have you heard that our souls are but one drop in the ocean and the entirety of the ocean in a drop? 💧
Physically, this means that each of us are an individual imprint on the collective consciousness and that each one of our cells has the imprint of the rest of our body and the Universe within it!
Linear time is a construct. When we heal ourselves, we are not only healing the human collective as a whole, but human consciousness forever throughout time and space.
In knowing this, is it possible that we have "scar tissue" in our energy field as well? Whichever area of the body has manifested as physical pain or disease can be used as a catalyst for inner-standing and growth.
What is Holistic Stretching?
Holistic stretching is the practice of healing the body-mind-spirit. It does not teach that a problem consists as a separate entity (like we learn in western medicine) or that it can be solved in a single session (like a band-aid), but rather, that inner and physical healing takes consistent practice and that every part of you is connected to the whole of you (thoughts, emotions & beliefs).
Your issues are in your tissues. Through Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and energy healing work, it has been found that grief is carried in the lungs and anger is carried in the liver, etc....
Fascia (connective tissue) and energy meridians or Chi lines (TCM) shows us that everything in the body is connected to everything else. For example- Say you feel pain on the right side of your neck- Western medicine might say, take Tylenol. Through holistic healing, you might observe your emotions around a relationship, or a job that's causing a "pain in the neck", breath through it, stretch it out, drink some water and find that it resolves without medication.
